The Lonely Apple
It is the heat of summer and school is out. The apple sees it's biggest work during the school year. Given to teachers everywhere. Day in and day out without let up. And now that it is summer what are they to do when there are no teachers around? The Apple is so lonely this time of year. They are all alone just sitting in a sack lonely as can be. Poor lonely little apple.They sweat it out until September rolls around and once again they are given as a gift to teachers far and wide. Where they sit on that coveted spot by all in the fruit world right on the front of the teachers desk, King of the fruit once again!
